Default Looking for a new seat - 1994 Ultra

Anybody have any other suggestions on who might still have a seat available for our older beauties? From what I have found, only Mustang still makes seats for pre 1997.

I can't have my seat redone, as the frame underneath is broken, and between the labor and recovering, it's as much to buy the new Mustang seat.

I am keeping my eye on Craigslist and Ebay, but look to likely pull the trigger on the Mustang seat early fall. If anyone knows (or has) a nice used seat for sale, let me know.

Thanks all.

Happy (almost) Fall.

I had a Mustang seat on my Valkyrie and I never liked that seat. It set up too high and just felt weird. If I were in your situation I'd look for a cheap torn seat with a good pan and have a seat custom made. Depending on what you use and who does the work it shouldn't cost any more. Over the years I have had a couple of custom seats made and they were the best seats I ever had. The only other seat that came close was Corbin.

I have the Mustang and really like it. I did 4500 miles in 7 days with no issues. I have my stock seat still if you want it. Pay shipping and its yours.

Nothing better than a mustang seat, may sit a tad higher because padding is somewhat firmer for long distance comfort. I got used to it quickly.

I have the mustang touring pillowtop seat, and I'm not in love with it. Use a sheepskin often for extra padding on longer trips. The wife does like the 2" longer arms, but that's about it. Seat and backrest are both pretty hard and have yet to "break in". I almost pulled trigger on one of these Leperas recently.

Jpcycles had the best deal at the time, But I chose to wait. Still thinking of getting my stocker rebuilt instead.

I've got a Corbin on my 95 King. It's a great feeling seat but I think the previous owner had shorter femurs than I do. Might need a little recrafting to move my backside back and down a little bit.

Gotta tackle that problem before I worry about the bars. They gotta go too.

I've said it before in here, if you can't find a seat you like have your seat remade for about $200. You can get it recovered, memory foam, gel pad, have the height raised or lowered, an your butt moved forward or back an 1" or 1.5".
