Thanks 98. I've been thinking about changing the cam but will probably wait till winter to do since riding season is here now.

Ruggs, I've got those jets coming soon. Since they seem to be popular I will try them and see how they work out.

Axis,
Let me know when you're riding again. We can check out some of the roads. I know a few and am always looking for new ones.
Will do SS313!

Literally, buying another Evo in the next few weeks....

Well it ran so good on the top end that I left the 180 in it. I changed the idle jet to a 48 and decided to replace the inlet needle, accelorator pump diaphragm, etc. while I was in it. I was able to find both stumble points on the idle adjuster (ponied up for the CVP EZadjuster) and all of the backfires and lagging seem to be gone. Now on to the next upgrade!

Thanks for the update. I am currently doing a jet job on my CV. You info has been valuable.

I don't know if you have your jets yet but there have been some S&S kits on EBay for around $20. I found mine for $13 and it had everything I needed. I did order a CVP EZ adjuster and carb kit because I'm pretty sure my 19 year old carb was untouched.
