Default Options 12v power

Hey all what would my options be for installing 12v power socket or a sub socket? For sat nav phone etc.

I've seen Harley do a horn mounted one part 69201136 But can't work out if it will fit my glide?

Also headlight bulb upgrades or tips to get better beam. ? Not sure if it's my bulb that's running or inside reflector or glass is dirty.

Cheers

Replace your headlight with Truck Lite LED headlight. Best place to order them from is Drive Train America. I out the three piece kit on my Heritage. Truck Lite is a lot cheaper than JW Speaker and works great.

Easiest way to get a USB or cigarette lighter type of socket is to get one that plugs into the SAE plug that is on the end of a battery charger pigtail

Would you have a link for anything power socket wise? The only battery charger pigtail I have is a aftermarket one

Nothing wrong with aftermarket but if you want HD then here are a couple of things.

I realized your bike takes a 5 3/4" headlight. Truck Lite does not make that size.

Here is a decent deal on one made by JW Speaker.

Cheers bro.

Ok... So I think I've sorted a nice usb power socket with sae plug.

Next question is if I were to run a usb lead from either iPhone or sat nav to let's say middle of the bike somewhere what's the best route????

I've looked at some gps units but it looks like a lot of them are hard wired and I would want to remove it quickly.

For a power outlet Drag Specialties has several.
The cheapest one is a $20 cigarette lighter which is the one I use.
It mounts on the handlebars and is easy to install but you do have to extend the wires because the ones they send with it are very short.

For gps get a ram mount and put your phone in it (assuming you have a smartphone).

Thanks texashill country.

I'll look into both of these. Hopefully can get in the uk easy enough.

Ok so I've ordered this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Terminal-Ha..._1472307624513

Now I'm struggling to find what kind of case to use on my iPhone 6 Plus. The ram mounts don't look like hey would hold the phone securely enough to ride with ?
