Don't know which one is best, but I've used this one with success: http://www.clutchlite.de/en_product.html.

Good product and not tough to install.

I use something like that (don't remember the brand name) and it has been working fine for years.

I had a Clutchlite for a while on my '90 Glide, but eventually took it off. All of that type of device take away some of the adjustment in the clutch mechanisim, reducing lift at the clutch plates. I found that was too critical on my bike. At some time the later Evos had the clutch mechanism upgraded, I understand, so they may work OK for your bike. We had one installed on a TC Dyna, which worked well.

If you wanmt to reduce lever effort, consider changing your clutch cable, especially if it is stock and original. I swapped out the Clutchlite after installing an H-D Diamondback cable - a dramatic improvement!

i should have mentioned in my original post the engine is 80inch with headwork done by hillside and also has barnett performance clutches, since im making alot more power then the stock 80 inch evo. now my clutch pull can be a bitch at times.

Maybe start hitting the gym and do some curls? :-)

Some of us need the clutch assist, especially when the arthritis and carpel tunnel acts up. It's a bitch, especially in cold weather.

As mentioned above I did the clutch light part (still not sure of brand name).
What I didn't mention is that I got an ez-pull cable from Barnett (probably equivalent to Mr.Browns Diamondback cable.

The end result is that my clutch is very easy to pull and like you I have the Barnett clutch plates in mine.

I've run the Burly in my '96 for many years with no problems in adjustments or adjustment holding ... now at 65 I need the easy pull

I just installed 2 Burly Easy Boy clutch pull devices in 2 FXDL's this afternoon. First 1 took about 2 hours. Second one took 30-40 minutes. They reduce "pull" by 40% Burly says. Seems about right. Doing "stop-n-go" clutch work for 6 or 7 hours, it's gonna make a difference. These should come outa Milwaukee already done.

Oh yeah, the friction zone is wider (more gradual) too.
