AntiGravity Lithium Ion bateteries are smaller. I have a thread around here somewhere with a lot of good information about why you need a battery.

I found that thread here.

My big question is, why would you not simply get exhausts that fit your your bike?

Lol when people forgot that not every bike has mass produced exhaust.

Well this is different, usually the kicker limits the options not the battery. is that a kicker in the pic, it's somewhat blurry on my phone... or maybe it's the beer...

I believe that you can upgrade your oil tank to a horse shoe style from a softail and totally get the battery out of the way.... Might have to do a little fabricating but i'm pretty sure it can be done...

Yes I did see that today, they sell a tank that bolts right in. We're gonna try to leave the battery alone and modify the exhaust with hopes it doesn't look to hillbilly by the time it's done

Yes I had got a set of pipes I really liked, cleared the kick, cleared the mid controls.....but the battery tray was about a inch in the way. My luck every time lol

Cool

I have a lithium battery in my Glide, having relocated it from beside the r/h saddlebag. It is not only smaller and lighter, but also higher output. So that is certainly a way ahead, as it is about the size of a Sportster battery.

I am however mystified by your 'new' exhaust and why it doesn't clear the battery tray. Do you know what bike it is intended for? I had problems with a pair of twin dual pipes, intended for a much later model than my 1990 Glide - the left one touched the top of my primary chaincase, although that is obviously on the other side of the bike.

Couldn't tell you what they where for to be honest. Just eye balled them off eBay as they appeared to clear my kicker and mid controls. Just got done hacking them up though so they should fit now lol!
