Just FYI, current trikes have a heavy duty (I believe) 1 1/8" belt. If that is so I suspect it will be stronger than the older 1 1/2" sidecar belt. I've gone to a 1 1/8" Sporty belt on my current build, so I can get my 160 tyre in - by the skin of it's teeth....

The sprocket cam from Sprocket Specialists, I believe they use 7075-t6. They special order (ordered 2) as I had them gold anodized.

Graham, do they make that in a 130 or 132? Part Numbers?

The easiest way to check chain / sprocket wear is try to pull the chain off the rear sprocket opposite the front. If you can left it more than a 1/8 inch, the sprockets will wear. Hooking is typical of a stretched chain but I would guess that a mismatch in the roller to sprocket radius or a smaller pitch circle on the sprocket would be the same as a stretched chain. Also it's worth checking for a stretched part in the chain. If one part is stretched, it will kill the sprocket eventually. Aluminum will die faster under these conditions..

I've just checked - 139T, with 30T/68T. Must have a slightly longer swingarm than our older bikes.

Been beating on a 1 1/8" S&S belt on the heavy EVO bagger for over 45k, and I don't run them over tightened like the HD spec calls for.

How do you determine your belt adjustment?

Find the tight spot of coarse,
then I sit on the bike and if the OL is around, her too, or one fat friend sitting on the bike for me works too, then I reach down and push up on the belt,,,, yep, that's about right,,,lol,,,,,no really.
