I purchased an S&S (Gates) belt made with X3N. Gonna give the belt another try.. It's Supposed to be stronger than stock... Anyone have any info on it?

Harley belts have gone from 1 1/2" on our Evos to 1 1/8" then 1", even narrower on some models. In the meantime performance has gone up, so I suspect successive belts have been stronger. S&S sets high standards, so I expect their belts will be top shelf stuff, much like H-D!

Thumbs up

If as some say Gates makes H-D belts and S&S also buy theirs from them, there is only a warm feeling to be had with either brand!

Read the fine print on the belt "Clutch handle releasing in a rapid manor will result in broken parts, loss of revenue and a pissed off wife"
