Default 2018 Softail Heritage

Last week I went to the dealer to check the new models. Wow... what a technical Evolution. LEDs, less weight, better for cornering... and what a really cool colour on the Heritage... everything in black. WOW (once again)!

Then I went home, opened the garage and ... look - mine! No need for something new!

I really like a lot of things what the MoCo did to the new lineup. But for now, I am happy with my 96 Evo.

And yours won't sump, or transfer trans fluid to the primary, or have payments.

Have you thought about painting or powder coating the shiny metal on your windshield?

Thank You! Lights are original I guess. Did not change it, except headlamp.

Yes, I thought about it. Maybe this winter, together with the oiltank.

I am totally with you, except that the thought of new never crosses my mind. In fact, efi and the increased sophistication of newer models is a turn-off for me. In my opinion, new models don't offer anything I want or need. As far as styling, I still haven't seen a Harley that I like better than my 95' Softail Special. That being said, the only thought that ever crosses my mind is if the day will come when I start having regular mechanical issues or evo parts become difficult to find. Up to now, neither has happened.
