Interesting idea. Do you carry this in your tool bag instead of a ratchet? If not, what function does this provide that a ratchet doesn't?

I've got a stubby 3/8" ratchet in my tool bag. I'll keep this in there as well. Next time I tear something apart I'll give this a work out and see how well it does. I know I can stick a screw driver in the chain space and get some extra torque.
When I get a chance to give it a good workout I'll report back.

I'm real curious as to how that chain holds up to lateral torque.
They'll hold up great to linear torque but lateral torque ain't what they were designed for.

Yea but I'm not talking 24" breaker bar torque! I am liking the idea of welding a socket to the other end and using it as an extension.
