Wish they were older vets closer to me to ride with.
I pretty much ride , solo. Not too smart, these days.

Ride Safe,
Harold

It's always good to know some one has your back.. Not hard to seek out your local Vets club.. Might even find out at the local American Legion.. where in Europe we're you stationed.. I was in England.. A-10s where awesome. One of my favorites..
Also really liked the F-4 Phantom as well..

RAF Greenham Common/Welford 79-81.. munition maintenance specialist.. yeah the F4 was loud but I guess you would need to have to be to fly at 80,000 feet or reconnaissance... I remember one time I was catching a hop out of Mindenhall and all of a sudden the building started shaking... A freaking SR-71 was coming in and an SR-71 was going out I was freaking unbelievable man the watch them things.. They're more like a rocket than they are a jet. Even the runway was totally surrounded by MP's.. It was pretty cool to see that..

Awesome 98hotrodfatboy! I also don't do MCs, because there are too many rules and politics, but I still like the camaraderie of Vets, so I ride with my Legion brothers, and do things for the community supporting Vets when I can.

CMA also has an 1-800 number for stranded bikers. That's a good resource to have when you are traveling.

My best friend from childhood was an A-10 pilot. I think he was in England for a while. Seen him on History Channel a few times when they are talking about the A-10. Hard to miss him, red hair and about 6'7". Out of the AF Academy the A-10 was the only plane they could fit him in.

Why are they patching new people that don't want to be members??
