Excessive Engine Vibration or Normal?
Seems like not enough Advance..required perhaps if ya time on Exhaust Stroke!!
I followed the manual instructions on how to static time it by watching the pushrods open then close the intake valve.

I already said I timed it according to the manual by watching the intake valve to ensure it was on the compression stroke. Timing is close but could use some adjustment possibly.
I ordered a new VOES and will replace all vacuum lines. Once installed I'll go from there. I'll also replace the footboard pads since they are hardened and deteriorate and not dampening as designed.
I'm not surprised that you have vibrations in the higher RPMs You are so far retarded it's ridiculous.. Also I believe that the ultimate ignitions have two aggressive of a timing curve and with that said would run curve 3 not curve 2..
The DynaJet D2Ki you can run on curve 2 on a higher compression motor without fear of detonation, the curve is a little more linear than the Ultima..
I also totally agree with
@johnjzjz
back a couple years ago I had him balance my S&S 4 5/8" crank with axtel 30° Pistons with my compression being up at 11.25:1 and from 2,700 RPM up to 6,500 RPM the motor truly is smooth as silk..
However What you do sometimes to satisfy the higher rpm range will affect the lower rpm range.. With that said I do have a minor vibration at 2200 to 2400 RPM but it's not that bad at all..
I would probably run the bike in the higher RPM range had I had better lifters I seem to have an issue with them at times in the high range..
If it turns out your ultima ignition is not functioning properly I would get a DynaJet 2KI...
