I ran AGM batteries in my 1989 ElectraGlide. I did so with the stock electrics and the CycleElectrics upgrade system. No issues.

[QUOTE=glidein wide;22237698]Back when I rebuilt the bike I increased charging system to a higher amp charging system I believe is 32 amps. Harley battery is sealed maintenance free,got5 years from the last one, this one not so strong, 330 cca new AGM looking at is 325cca...but yes everything will be checked and cleaned including the lollipop in the Solenoid.[/QUOTE

Then there shouldn't be any issues.. I really like the Interstate 320 cca.. I got 7 years out of my last one

OE flooded battery was 165cca @20ah. Most all AGM will be about 320-340cca@22ah

Yeah the fl's take the 30 series batteries.. you can get a lot higher ampere and cca rating than that of the 20 series..
