Finally getting started on rebuild
An accident last Oct left me with a smashed ankle. 12 screws and a titanium splint put me back together. The bike took a hit on the right side, then flipped and took out the left side, tweaking the frame in the process. Am now repaired well enough to do some work on the bike.
Borrowed a little 110v welder and got the tabs welded on for a new set of low drag pipes. Just tacked them, will get them tig'd when I get the frame to the shop that will straighten it. Now I can disassemble down to the frame, get it off to be straightened and have mounts fabbed for the WCC tank I got, the peanut just don't hold much gas.
I have a lot of stuff to order and need a seat modified, hope to accomplish all that by the time the frame is back home.
