Default windsheild height

I am looking for some input on windshield height for my 88 flht. I want to be able to just see over the shield. I am 6' 4" so anybody close would be welcome. Also what after market brands have you used and how do you like it.

88 flht, Bat wing right ?? Check out Cee Bailies . They make several and do custom height .They also have a Super Step that does work real well and talk to them about there products. They make aircraft windshields so they know what they are doing. Most like to look over the top by a couple inches. Don't know if anything i said will help or not .

They are easy enough to cut if you already have a decent one, if not, or you're not sure what height to buy, or whatever, you can cut them with a jigsaw (medium-course blade) and using a belt sander with about an 80 grit, work it smooth on the edges. And you can keep going finer on the grit till you have a clear edge if you want to spend that much time.

I'm 6'4" too and like to see over in the rain, fog, mist...

We swapped out for a Clearview and chose an 8" recurve for the Loan Officer's trike.

Went down from 12" std HD to the Clearview.

Your hgt (upper torso length) and your seat on your bike will determine the correct screen hgt for you.

Her 01 EGC had a 12" and my 96 EGC had a 15" aftermarket and I saw just over them at the same distance (50' recommended). Just to demonstrate the difference in two models and different stock seats. The frame/seat/torso length will make each rider's needs different.

pics show 12" and 8" Clearview as exemplar
