well I didn't get a chance to look for the leak last night, but I dropped the bike at another reputable Indy tonight. I should have an answer as to where it is leaking by tomorrow.

Thanks for all the advice

Welcome to the world of letting someone else work on your baby. It's hard to find a good mechanic and even if you do, you have to make sure you catch him on a good day. Too many people out there put in less than 100% at work most of the time and this means even a good mechanic might not get it done right.

At least you ride is fixed correctly now.

Well I do know that this guy will never get a good word from me, he has only been open a year and I will spread the word.

I have at least found a better "local" indy that runs outta his garage and has great references and is even more reasonably priced and treats my bike like it is his own.

I wil take the other sorry a$$ to court when I get back from Sturgis.

Good to hear that the bike is back on the road. The laws of small claim courts don't apply to deceptive people, you can win and still never get your money, can only file a lein against his property or spend some time and try to attach to his checking account if you can find out where he does his banking. My dad went thru this and one of my customers was the county prosicutor and spoke to him about it and basically was told the system is bad for collection of funds owed to you.

The $25 spent will be bad advertisement for the Indy and the best thing you can do is just spread the word, I read your post earlier and noticed that the Indy wouldn't honor a possible problem so game on.

amazing how quickly people forget the digital age we live in

information about a business can spread like wildfire and can either make or break them

tsk, tsk to this guy.... he's gonna find himself out of business for doing what he did

...sorry to hear of your experience 'norid'.....that sucks

Would you mind telling the name of the Indy and the town he is in so that if I am ever traveling through there and have an emergency I don't use him?
