Default Rear Caliper Removal

Wanted to check my rear brake pads, so I decided to pull the caliper off, but they won;t budge. Moved the retainer away from the caliper, but its still hanging up on something. Must be a trick that I'm not aware of. Any ideas? Rotor gets very hot, and excess dust on lower side of rotor. Maybe froze piston, although, brakes seem to function ok.

Take a large C-clamp,etc. and see if you can push the piston in so the caliper will come off. Then get a hardware kit and replace everything so that it slides back and forth easily. Hope this helps.
