Bronson.....that FXDX fork set-up you're going to use is what I would have used on the FXRT too. It has all the good stuff, a perfect up-grade, while still keeping the FXR the way it should be. Had an older dual disc 39mm, so to keep costs down too....went with the tried and true upgrades on it.......

Those are a nice front end and really handle well with a progressive spring kit , if you like the narrow fronts those are the way to go the old 39mm style sucked . The brakes on the later fronts are brembo's they just didn't start using the name till 08 and later . Marketing ploy ......
