Default 95 fsxtc leaked something

Took the scoot for a ride yesterday, and when I pulled back into the garage and parked I had about an 8 " circle of a purpleish black thick sludge on the floor at the rear of my primary side. I put the bike on the lift and layed under it and saw that it looked as if it was coming from where the rear of the primary marries up with the trans. I then checked engine oil, primary oil, and trans oil and all were good, clean and at the correct levels. So I wiped the bottom of the bike off, and tore azz around the block real quick to find no new drips. Any idea what the hell is going on? What's in our shocks? Could it blow the seal and send its contents in that direction?

You could have had a shock leaking, it happens.

I don't think its a shock. Bike still rides the same, and more (not nearly as much) oil is still leaking out. I have a slight primary leak anyway, and I think while I was fine tuning my Carb after my ride the trans burped up some through the vent tube?

At first I thought the primary leak was from the cover gasket. I'm starting to realize its the inner primary gasket.

Is there any way transmission fliud can get into the primary side of the engine?

It might be my imagination, but the oil thats on the garage floor looks to have a tinge of trans oil in it.
