This is the most I have ever spent on a bike and the first one to come without any tools. There is always a walmart or hardware store close so i'm gonna chance it.

At the very, very least you should have zip ties, electrical tape, heck wrenches that will fit your bar clamp, a spark plug gapper, a spark plug socket, perhaps a set of spark plugs (just a thought), a tire tool if you have tubeless tires (I don't), a set of vice grips, screw driver (philips and flat), flashlight, tire gauge, a socket wrench, maybe a few sockets and if possible a leatherman or knife.

I have a 'helicopter bag' that I keep in a saddle bag. Doesn't eat much room and holds a LOT of tools and spares. To figure out what I NEEDED in the bag, I do all my maintenance with the tools in the bag. If I have to get something out of the rollaway, it goes in the bag and a new one goes in the rollaway. There are some strange tools, but not really a lot of tools in the sack.
