I needed a new air filter to put under this cover.



So I take the old one with me to Advanced Auto and use their K&N book to find an E-3260 should work and order it for 48.00 and change. Get home and do a little research finding the same K&N is 14.95 thru amazon dot com.

I canceled my order at Advanced and a couple of days later received my new filter from amazon, it was 21.00 and low change with shipping, and it works great.

Just thought I would pass that along.

 

That is awesome! Just as an idiot check be sure to get the KNN cleaner and spray oil and prep the filter right!

 

That reminds me, I also ordered the K&N cleaner and oiling kit for 9.88 and since I ordered it at the same time as my filter that price included shipping, thought that was a pretty good deal too.

K&N says their air filters come pre oiled so I did nothing but put it in, would you advise otherwise.

 

Yeah, they come pre-oiled. I've been buying a bunch of stuff off amazon. Class 3 receiver hitch for the Truck, fuel pump for the Esprit Turbo, gas operating rod for the AK, book for the wife. It's cool.

Great timing astark, as I will need an air cleaner for my bike before long. Looking through UK suppliers I find that for my S&S G carb I need an E-3226, however we don't get such favourable prices, even on Amazon UK!
