96" Rebuild Done
I started what i thought would be a mild big bore rebuild on my evo this year, heres what i ended up with.
S&S 4 5/8" Flywheel
S&S 3 5/8" Bore Cylinders
S&S Flat Top Pistons
S&S 76cc heads with 2" intake valve/ 1.65"exhaust
S&S 510G cam + S&S Lifters
S&S Oil Pump
Mikuni HSR 42 with A.N. Big Sucker Stage II intake
Bassani RR 2-1 with performance baffle
Daytona Twin Tec ignition
Needless to say, I am thrilled. Ive got about 2500 miles on the build since i finished it a month ago. The torque is all there right off the idle but the big difference now is the bike just keeps pulling and pulling, it feels like it never lays over. Theres no longer a need to downshift when passing on the highway. Overall I love it, great all around power but super streetable. I have a couple ideas to squeeze some more power out once im bored, but first i'm gonna spend some time riding the wheels off it.
Ended up making 95tq/85hp, definitly a jump up from the tired old 80". Heres the dyno chart after tuning in the carb.

Have you got a .030 head gasket in it because you are right at perfect street compression, good reason why it has good street manors and strong. John Sachs helped me set up my 4 5/8's with flat tops and he did 76 cc and wanted a .030 squish, real nice engine setup.
That torque chart on the dyno has you in the torque range at cruise and a few rpm's away from the sweet spot, gotta be smiling when rolling the throttle, congrats and you might want to work on some anti radar flat black.

Yea, its got the .030 head gasket in it. Im definitely pleased with the build, and always smiling when i roll on the throttle. As you see in the pics above already got the flat black, found out the hard way that it is not radar proof though... Sorry officer
