Default Bought an EVO

Hello everyone. So last April I bought my first Harley. Hell its my first motorcycle! A 1998 FXD and I love it. Sure she has 54k on the odometer, vibrates a bit, burning slightly rich, and needs a few upgrades but I love this bike.

In my first year I put 4k on it and that's why I haven't posted sooner. Been busy riding!

Well just wanted to chime in and say Hi.

Pretty bike. 54k is nothing for an EVO.

You'll get used to the vibration,then learn to love it.
I have three herniated discs and arthritis in my spine.The vibration actually makes my back feel better.

That's an understatement. It looks great. 54k on a bike that appears to have been maintained as well as it looks is going to give many miles of satisfaction.

I don't mind the vibration or the slight smell of gas every once and awhile coming from the carb. For me that's all part to the riding experience.

And the more I read about the Evo running strong with high miles the more I appreciate this bike. Just gona keep the fluids fresh and try not to slam through the gears.

Nice ride, looks in great shape. Have fun, the EVO is great for a first easy to work on and loads of fun. The only thing I dont like about that smell is when I have to pass by her, makes me pissy all day.
