Default Still looking for a backrest

I have a '91 FLHS and I'm trying to find a sissy bar and backrest for the ol' lady https://www.hdforums.com/forum/evo-c...-backrest.html

J&P cycles doesn't carry the part number that was mentioned in my first post, I know, I should have bought when I first looked!

I've found detach stuff for '94 and newer FLHR(Road King). Which as far as I know was basically just a new name, relocated battery and oil tank and small stuff. Does anyone know if the rear part of the frame is any different? Shouldn't the mounts still work for the older FLHS frame? Any advice would help, I won't hold anyone to what they say if I buy something and it doesn't work. I could just buy a tour pack and mounting rack off of ebay I suppose, but then I'd have to paint it and all that jazz.

Thanks,
Brad

See if you can find someone with a 94 or newer to measure the rear fender width and the mounting hole spacing on the sides. That is really the only thing that matters. I found one company that appears to make one to fit your bike. The link takes you to where you can pick the side plates. They also sell the bars.

I'm asking around so I can do just that. Thanks a ton for the link, I may go that way.
