Default Another FLHTC fork question...

My 87 FLH has the Air Ride suspension. I placed about 5 pounds of air into the value on the crash bars and the next day the had leaked out?
What are my options.

Many thanks in advance..

If you like the air ride, use soapy water to find the leak and repair. Could be leaking almost anywhere. I like mine, but have replaced a couple of o-rings.

Yep, a little soapy water will go a long way in finding the leaks.

If you find leaks around the air manifold and solenoid, this kit has what you need.

The system is very simple. My bike has the air reservoir in the handlebars, but they are otherwise similar. There is an ordinary tyre valve in the point at which you pump it up, so check or replace that. There is a rubber hose from your bars to a manifold on the top tree, which can obviously leak at either end, even have perished. It is the same as oil line hose. Finally there are unions the same as brake caliper unions on each fork leg, with copper washers.
