Ride safe,
Prices vary quite a bit in different areas. I check prices in Iowa, South Dakota, and Wisconsin because Minnesota (the whole state, not just the big cities) seldom has anything in Harleys I'd consider average, let alone low priced. Last year I flew to Milwaukee to ride one back; bet I could have flipped it and made $1500 to 2000 on it - and it was a sporty. But it was also one I've been looking for, ain't gonna be for sale while I can ride it. I don't know what folks actually settle for, but some of the really expensive ones I've followed out of curiosity were gone in a day or two. I've bought two Harleys locally, got them both within hours of being posted on Craig's List, and the owners said they were getting lots of calls, I just got there first. I've missed some within a few hours of them being put on line, too.

A big twin clean title regardless of year in the $5000-6000 range is tight.
Some might be found but in very good condition that would be tight.
Things start to loosen-up after $7,500 for a big twin with a clean title in very good condition.
Anything below very good condition causes price to vary a bit more.

Lots of bikes advertised for stupid money, but they never sell. Harleys are not investments.

With that said you would think a carbed Road King would be in the $5000 - $6000 range. Sure not finding that on the East Coast. Been watching ebay and most auctions for evos are expiring with out the bike being sold. What do you guys think of this?
FYI - My Ultra is a '03 with no major issues. And I know plenty of guys that ride newer TC baggers than mine ... again, no major failures.
