Found a 94 fatboy for 9k.. the only catch is Rev Tech 88 motor with about 39k miles..
A few things.. Im not looking for investment Im looking to ride the hell out of it. Im just on the fence with the fact of a Rev Tech motor.
As always any help would be great.
9 grand on a 94' isnt some screaming deal especially when it has a high mileage Rev-Tech in it instead of the uber reliable Evo.
Take that 9 grand of yours and keep looking! Lots of screaming deals out there. The realibility of that Rev-Tech just isnt gonna be there with the good old Evo or even a Twin cam bike you could get bought for that much dough....
IMO in this economy E-Bay is the best gauge to value these bikes. Here is a listing of the last 240 Fatboys listed on E-Bay of all years and what kinda money they did. Lots of em' dont even sell or reach the reserve. Lots of em' are pristine low mileage bikes that would cost a guy $500-$600 to have shipped to your doorstep:http://motors.completed.shop.ebay.co..._osacat=__6024
I wouldnt let my geographical area constrain me to over paying for a bike when its so easy to buy one on E-Bay for cheap. These are guys just like me and you selling these bikes cheap.
my dad just bought a 2000 fatty with 4 thousand miles and stage 1 with a corbin sturgis solo and windsheild plus bags for 9 even..............there is better deals out there keep looking
