Default Front tire cupping

Today I noticed my front tire is cupping on the right side. What will cause that?

Hey Blu, not sure exactly what you mean by cupping, without pictures but here is a great article that may help you figure it out. http://www.rattlebars.com/tirewear/index.html

Thanks Slammed. According to this article, I'm making too many right hand turns!

Haha, don't do that! I guess that didn't help so much, did it? Maybe your cupping and their cupping isn't the same. Do you have pictures?

edit: One thought, what side of the lane crown do you usually ride on? Since we can't go a 1/2 mile without a hard stop around here, that might have something to do with it.

I went to take some pics, but it's so minimal that I doubt you could see it. I'm not going to worry about it for now. As long as it stays on, I'm good!

Low tire pressure can cause cupping.

Often it can be the result of poor front fork damping.
If you are running the stock set-up, you basically have not-so-great damping. Might be that Intiminators, Monotubes or Cartridge Emulators could help.
Or it could be a matter of tweaking the fork oil weight/quantity to suit your riding conditions.
