Bad idea? I thought it was good to warm it up once a month during the winter to keep the seals moist.

As long as you bring it up to full operating temperature, it shouldn't be a problem.
Don't start it just to start it, you'll create condensation which will do more harm then if you just left it alone.

I did that with my last Harley..... Once....... It puked it's tranny fluid. I think because it wasn't circulating.

The same can be said for women, bring them up to full operating temperature and keep them moist!

37 and sunny here......I was actually contemplating a ride.... would never make it out of my 500 foot mud of a driveway

yeah It'll be your guys turn when we have winter...mind you our last winter was very warm, so year round riding is the norm here.

I hear you TD. Today I called up the youtube vid of mine on the dyno and watched it twice. Plan ahead for next winter-- throw a vid on you tube and you can listen to it every day!
