Ill be running:

Mobil 1 V Twin 20w50 in the engine
Redline Heavy with shookproof in the tranny
Mobil 1 ATF in the primary

+1 to shockproof
-1000 to the Synth in your engine (my 86 Evo hated the stuff - way noisier - so back to Harley Engine oil for me)

Another Shockproof user here. Made a big difference. Although my tranny was full of water when I bought the bike (breather line was clogged with a mud-dopper nest). It's like super thick pepto-bismol and smells, but works great.

OP, I use both in my two bikes, the Redline is in the 94 and it reduces the 1st gear clunk for me, the twinkie is fine with the regular gear oil... If your's is quiet and shifting well with what you are using then I'd stay with it....

As long as you are using gear oil and not the "three holes one oil" you will be fine.

Went from HD formula to the redline with shock proof and saw a major difference. I still use Rotella T in the motor and primary.
