Nice...was going to start searching for an iridium plug for my bike.
stumbled upon your comment.
2 on their way for $16.50 shipped ... gotta love this forum and ebay as well.

So, is there really an advantage to using a spark plug that will outlast the engine it's installed in?

it has to do with management of the combustion cycles - they are perfect for the life of the plug

1G16 denso is what we use

AC Delco R44xls, run season after season and start easy (oh, and they're cheap).

sorry it was a typo 1W16 is the correct number in a shop cheap is not what we look for, as 3 / 4 years down the road the cost crosses and unless an issue should come up - push the button and go
