Default floorboard vibes???

Hi guys, i have my 99 heritage and it runs good, just get some vibes in the floorboards at 70 and above, just wondering what i can do for it. i have put some new hd isolators on the floorboards, gel insole in my boots, (hard sole boots so don't know if it helps). all mounts are tight..... going on a trip and would like to travel at about 72mph. just wondering any thoughts from you guys to cut the vibes down at 70 and above.....Thanks

Stay at 69......sorry, couldn't help myself

Check that your motor mount bolts are tight.

Not sure how bad your vibes are but you are gonna have vibrations no matter what you do.

You have a solid mount motor that guarantees that you will have vibrations.

My Softail's are pretty smooth at 70-85. Above that and the wind takes over.

Interestingly enough my 95 heritage had a vibration handlebars and floorboards. In the fall I changed the cam shaved the heads and did a few other things like that to the engine to improve power. I also threw in a fresh set of rings. My intention was to increase power, but a great side effect was my engine runs much smoother and I no longer believe adding a sixth gear is needed for the interstate.

You can try changing sprockets to reduce rpm's at higher speeds.

Did it make a difference when you changed the isolators? My 95 glide has a slight vibration . It's not bad but I was thinking that changing out the 19 year old isolators with some fresh rubber might make a difference. Did you find it worthwhile to do so ?

DISAGREE!
I bought a road glide.
Lol

Op,
Are the isolators the same thing as the inserts? I bought a set of upgraded factory parts, think the bullshit "custom" moco carp. This was way better than the $20 stockers.
