In my experience, Harley didn't put a great deal of effort into balancing the stock motors so the amount of vibration can vary from one to the next by quite a bit. Then again, a 45 degree V-twin CANNOT be balanced at all speeds/loads. It simply cannot be done, hence rubber mounting and balancers.
Then too, we are probably all different in how we sense vibration, and how much we are bothered by it.
One other thing I forgot about. 11 years ago I installed this: http://www.balancemasters.com/ . It's a balancer that installs on the compensator of your motor. It uses mercury, so there are no moving parts to wear out. It won't completely balance the motor, but by the seat of my pants, it cuts the vibration level by about 50%. Yeah, I didn't think it would work either, but it does.

I think I got her figured out, I did a once over on the motor mounts again and really cranked on them and got about another 1/4 to 1/2 turn on the motor mount bolts and that seemed to cure up the vibes pretty good, Top mount was tight just the bottom mounts I got alittle more on them. took it out for a spin and it helped bigtime, not much vibes on hard acceleration and very slight vibes above 70 but very bearable..... Thanks again for all the help.... still want to check out that balancemaster though......

It wouldn't hurt, but, as we always say, don't overlook the obvious and easy stuff.
