Default new exhaust for an old shovel

puting a new top end on my old shovel. The memories this shovel has created are almost as bad *** as riding this bike. This bike has had drag pipes and thunder headers. Lookig for a new exhaust. Looking for something quieter, but something to still allow that thump sound to be heard. Suggestions?

I'm finishing up on a 72 FX project with drag pipes. They are gone and replaced with a SuperTrapp 2 into 1 system. The shovelhead thump is there but not as loud as your thunder header.

The SuperTrapp is a tuneable system by adding or subtracting baffle plates. Running 12 plates with open end cap, bike is happy!

look into Paughos in Nevada still make a lot of early pipes lot of shovel types. These on mine are vintage Paughos pipes not available now but have some similar. Good luck.

We still make both a stainless and a chrome 2:1 for the shovel. Right now, sign up for our newsletter on our website and receive a 20% off code.
