last weekend I picked up a 1980 FXEF 80 low rider in really good condition. It needs new exhaust pipes and I need some guidance in selecting a quality high performance aftermarket pipes.
Drags sound real good but are a big performance hit if you don't have big inches to back them up.
Armyrat, you said you wanted quality and high performance, I suggest you look at Super Trapp 2-1 tunables, they will outperform just about anything out there for a shovel. Having said that, I run 2" Cycle Shack drags on my '79 and love them. They always bolt up right, the chrome is solid and if you hi-temp paint the insides and have a good tune, they stay chrome.
