I am looking for some exhaust suggestions for my 2003 Harley softail heritage classic the motor has been built up 95 big kit, 585 lift cam gear driven, screaming eagle heads port ant polished, oversize valves and a Jims stroker crank, wiseco 10.5 flattop pistons, a super E carburetor, dynatek ignition.
I have Vance Hines big radius on the bike now just dont like the sound I want deeper tone
I went from the fat cat to fuelmoto stainless 2-1-2 head pipe and crusher mufflers. It has the deep tone your looking for, not loud at all but when you get on it sounds nice. No loss of bottom end either

Apples to Oranges, touring exhaust systems don't jive with softails. The general rule is: larger diameter mufflers have a deeper tone, smaller ones will have a higher tone. Having all the performance engine mods the OP has would make sense to run a 2-1 system. My recommendation would be a D&D Fat Cat with the louvered wrapped baffle, but it may not be as deep a tone you are looking for; or a Supertrapp Supermeg as it has a throaty sound and is tunable with the disc/end cap system.

Reason: changed "perforated" to "louvered"
. He asked about a exhaust with a deep tone, and your right a exhaust for a touring bike prob won’t work on a softtail. He would have to buy the exhaust for a soft tail. D&D are a good pipe but he isn’t going to get the deep tone he is looking for. I was just stating what I had and what I have now and he would get a deeper tone with a 2into 2 compared to a 2into1
