Default Error code P0013, P0134

My first bike just started riding a few months ago.

My used but, new to me XL1200X Forty-Eight 2015.

I'm getting an oxygen sensor error code P0013, P0134 don't know what to do.

I'm on the second sensor that I replaced, still getting the same issue.

I have the Vance & Hines short shots with the FP3 which I installed.

Please, forgive me I don't know the technical lingo with that said here's a brief version of my story.

With my first go after the install, it worked out great everything was going well, after a few weeks of riding all of a sudden I started hearing much different sound then I was used to.

I didn't realize at first but, after bringing it home and trying to take it out the next day, I noticed the pipe was disconnected from the engine.

After expressing my frustration towards the screw up I made, I ordered bolts reattach the pipes everything was looking good and all of a sudden now I'm getting this problem with the oxygen sensor.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

is your FP3 runing auto tune? if it is, that could be a cause for it to run rough.. with an open pipe the 02 wasnt sending the right AFR data to the fp3, so the fp3 compensated and now that its closed up, is dumping too much fuel into the cylinder

disconnect the FP3, or reflash it and start from scratch,

on that P0013.. you sure its "0013"
  1. P0131 Front Oxygen Sensor Low
  2. P0132 Front Oxygen Sensor High
  3. P0134 Front Oxygen Sensor Inactive
book doesnt show a 0013 code so double check that..

also check the harness going to the front o2 sensor, unless that sensor is coated in a nice thick blanket of soot that sealed it up nice, it should be ok,

My apologies, I'm a little dyslexic.
Appreciate the quick response please, check out the picture below.

As far as the eye can see I don't see any dirt buildup or I never ran in auto-tune either so I'm not sure.

The error codes I'm getting is P0031, P0134

The codes may have been from when the pipe was disconnected. Try clearing the codes and if they don't reapear it means all is OK.

I tried almost everything but, of course, something I missed.

I wanted to try everything before coming back with a question and I hope that you can find some time to reply back to me it will be much appreciated.

With the issue of mine, do you think that this could be due to a bad gasket?

Please advise, thanks.
