Performance Query
I have recently modified my 06 Night Train, the following work was done, SE 211 Cam Kit, 1550 Piston Kit, Gaskit Kit, Rebored the Cylinders, mill polish headwork and power commander. Work was done by Peter Stevens, I was told to do 1000 ks then return for a dno tune. Cost me a fortune $3700 to be exact and I am not happy, all that's changed is the noise, it's just louder. I can't feel the extra power at all, is that because I haven't Dyno tuned it yet as I haven't completed the 1000ks yet. I'm even thinking that I've been dooped as I don't know enough to actualy check the bike myself, wouldn't have the faintest clue a;; I wanted was a bit more power, sorry guys as you can tell, don't know much about Harley's, just like riding them.
I bought a new '08 Street Glide with SE air cleaner and Rinehart exhaust. Before the dyno tune (which was done after I put 1000 miles on the bike) the power was about 66. After the dyno tune it was 80. The dyno tune made a big difference on my bike.
Well, provided that all the work was actually done, and you gave that cam the compression it wants. It might just need a good tune. What pipe is on there? As long as you have a good tuner lined up, than it should come alive. But there are lots of variables that we don't know here. Exact piston type, head flow and valve size and cc's, pipe, air cleaner set up,....etc....
