Has anyone had experience with these pipes? They are on a '07 Ultra and pop on decel pretty bad.The bike was just dino tuned and still pops. Is this inherent to these pipes or do I need to look for other problems? The bike runs great other than the popping. Thanks

 

Its all in the tune up....decel popping is nothing more than perfect combustion in the pipes so the idea is to disrupt that combustion my leaning the mixture or addind fuel to richen the mixture during the decel period. If the tune was done correctly this wouldn't be an issue now. Some pipes make it hard to eliminate but it can be done if you know how the program works.

90% of the time it's what Doc said, but you may have an exhaust leak that's letting air get sucked in. If that's a dead end, check for intake leaks.

 

I heard every stupid excuse in the book from my dealer...
"Short pipes pop", "They're all that way"
I had the V&H Big Radius, which are almost the same thing.
When I made them change my injectors over from the 8 degree to the 25 degree, the popping magically disappeared.....
