I have been reading so much BS about exhausts, the need to remap, the need to install a powercommander etc. and I have come to the conclusion you just gotta learn for yourself. I decided to swap out the stock mufflers for some SE II's and they are great. Great sound and very noticeable increased torque, power, and response, especially at lower speeds. Based on the all the opinions out there I was completely confused until I swapped the pipes out. Just read some info. on another forum where readers were telling someone they definitely had to remap or install a PC III if they even changed to pipes. I do know that if change out the air filter I need to remap but until then I'm enjoying the ride. J

 

what type of bike do you have ? what part # pipes ? looking at doing the same thing
