Default Screaming Eagle Intake

Hi:

I wanted to add the round air filter cover and now learn that I need to upgrade to the Screaming Eagle intake. That's all fine. Question, will that goof up the EFI or can I make that change without any, "re-mapping". I don't want blue exhaust pipes.

Thanks!!

Jay

The general consensus is that you can install either a high flow air filter or high flow exhaust without a retune, but if you install both you must retune because if you do not, your bike will run too lean.

Thanks Jeff. I'm very green here and suspected that this may be an issue. I'd suppose my standard pipes will continue to restrict airflow regardless of what the airbox allows in.
