Screaming eagle air filter

Hi all,
Can anyone please tell if placing a new screaming eagle air filter harmful for my iron 883 engine? Cause I'm living in Cairo Egypt where the air is sandy and dusty.

Not sure if I understand this but, yes you can change them out. You can also clean them. I would use regular dish soap and water, something that cuts through grease. This is what I do with mine. I live in Phoenix so I deal with the same stuff u do just not on a larger scale.

If you do change the air intake to a Screaming Eagle from stock, you will need a remap done.. Now, seeing as you do not have anyone in Egypt to do a remap, I would go with a power commander and change your stock pipes while your at it.. My as well go full on stage 1....

I usually get to clean my filters 2 or 3 times before I replace them.. It's up to you though.

The only way you'll harm the engine is if you don't tune it after adding the kit. It'll be way to lean if you don't, not to mention it'll run like crap.
