For the price of your deflectors or other gizmo's you can buy a pair of the IED's that don't mask the problem, but actually cure it by richening the engine creating lower engine temps. The IED's only cost $70. Aside from the lower engine heat you get better throttle respnse, and an overall better running bike. I am just a member like you I don't make a dime on the sale of them. But also like you I was seeking a cure for the additional heat created by these new 96er's. Go check out the thread IED Field Test.
