Default Cams for my 07 Ultra

I have a stock 07 Ultra that I have Rinehart true duals and S/E air cleaner with a thundermax ECM. I would like to put a set of cams in it and can't decide which way to go. I am thinking&nbsp\\;about the S/E 255. I thought about the 253 but they look a little heavy on the duration side. What do you guys think and what are you running now. I do most of my riding one up, but sometimes two up with bagage for trips.
Thanks for the help and ride safe,
&nbsp\\;

Good advice from spankstang, but if you have your heart set of SE cams, don't even consider the 253.

woods 6 or woods 7h if you don't mind changing valve springs and pushrods. all kinds of torque for a big bike.&nbsp\\; i'm running the 7h with the t-max and it runs perfect.

The 255 is a decent though EPA cam thus short on intake. You can get much better performance out of other SE cams. I personally like the 251. It's a high-lift short duration cam so it produces better torque. The 211 is a good choice if you need less lift.

the Head-Quaters TC-500 is a great bagger cam,&nbsp\\;and can be there for you if you go to a low compresion 103 as well.
&nbsp\\;
the Woods 6 would be my next choice without head work, with headwork the HQ .575s are very torquey
&nbsp\\;
if you going to all the trouble, get a superior cam, not a cookie cutter SE one!

Don't overlook the Andrews 54's. Nice performance boost in a stock engine &amp\\; will still keep you grinnin after headwork, BB, etc...
