Default Removing SE Slip on baffles.

I have had just about enough of my slip ons. I have an 06 RK Classic, with SE Slip ons. I have purchased a race tuner, but was waiting to get V&amp\\;H exhaust before I put it on. I have run out of money, and cannot buy pipes.

So, my question is, will it damage the bike any by installing the SE&nbsp\\;Race Tuner and taking out the baffles? Are there any other CHEAP suggestions?

Thanks!

Steve, do you happen to know which SE slip ons you have?&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
What don't you like&nbsp\\;about them?&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
If they happen to be the 65115-98B's you can not remove the baffles in the typical sense.&nbsp\\; They are in a canister that does not allow you to access the baffles.&nbsp\\;But you can remove the entire canister leaving the shell of the muffler.&nbsp\\; &nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
If they are these mufflers you can check with SuperTrapp as they might have freer flowing canisters you can purchase.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Also, if they happen to be 65115-98B's I would put them for sale on this website.&nbsp\\; They are a very sought after item.&nbsp\\;

Thanks for your reply.The performance of these are fine, however I want a louder sound. Just a little too quiet for me. \\\\\\;I would be honest in saying I am not sure which model they are. I bought them over 2 years ago, and would have to look it up. However, they are the ones with the canister that has the baffles inside. I have pull them completely out and now have a hollow shell. I have not taken it out on the road to test it. Wanted to see if there would be a problem first. I know it will take the back pressure away, and hurt the performance a bit...but wasn't sure about what it might do to the bike overall. I will also take a look at the supertrapp idea.
