Default Head work

Friend of mine likes what I did to my ultra's motor(103,255-cams,ported & valve work on the heads. He wants to do the same but being that I did the heads with the rest of the job I couldnt tell him the differance. I've always known that the v-twin motor is like a air pump fast air in fast air out. Would this be something he should add to his big bore job?

Default Heads

There is certainly a ton of usable power to be had from a good set of heads*, from what our 27 yrs. in business has shown us, on the dyno, flow bench.

Well I run a dual runner intake 50mm setup on my 97" Twin cam setup and its an excellent match, but I'm also hard on the throttle and take the rpms high on my ride constantly where some benefits are seen. What are your running currently for a TB/Carb?

Default Ports

I like the welding and cnc porting that R&R Cycle does. They choke the ports down 30% and install a 1.900" intake valve, those heads rip!

Default Rip

I agree about Baisley, have whitnessed his heads on the race track many times, he is the best (on the track). Just did a Baisley to R&R head swap on a local bike for Dennis Crane and he is amazed how much quicker his bike revs with the head change only.
