Need some more info
Do you have an air cleaner on it ?
Have you messed around with the carb? taken it apart, etc.
Has it done this since you bought the bike or only after you have made a change?

check needle position and slow jet size

also possible it has an air leak causing a lean condition. the air leaks are usually were the carb goes on the manifold or where the manifold bolts to the heads. some times the rubber gaskets can get pinched or dislodged keeping them from sealing.

Most likely the carb, needs to be rejeted, I would bump up both the slow & main jet one size. also make sure all your vacum line are intact.
