Default Leg heat from rear cylinder/ exhaust

I just traded for the bike below, an 18 RGS that has a Screaming Eagle Tuner, Hi Flow breather, and an S & S exhaust. I'm noticing a lot of leg heat after the engine warms up and there is no air flow, as in slow rolling or being stopped. I believe this Exhaust has the cat in the slip on muffler. What's the fix here ? I going to add the mid frame heat deflector but that's going to be a minimal fix. Any ideas ? I'd like to stay within warranty if possible.

A - M8s run hotter than Twin Cams, not sure if you are coming out of a TC or not.

B - If you took those lowers off you would get much more airflow over the motor.

C - Cats are located in the header, not the muffler.

Unless its a twin cooled model. No heat issues on my M8. Stock exhaust does have catalytic converter in the headers.

On this S&S exhaust, "Dealers state the CAT is in the slip on muffler", not the head pipe... Here's the catch on this, If they install a better tuner, (say TTS for example), and change the exhaust, "they" can tune it and the warranty will still be intact... My previous RGS was a 2017 with FP3, KN 1717, and Fuel Moto head pipe with Cobra Race Pro slip ons. Never had this issue ...

Correction to the above, The Dealership where the service records are, notified me that these are MK45 slip ons with a factory heap pipe. My bad people. CAT is in the head pipe ...

My 2020 SG with stock headpipes (and a factory cat) and slip ons puts out a good deal of heat on the right side at the back jug. midframe heat deflectors resolved that felt heat.
