Maybe Cam Timing problem

Maybe Cam Timing problem
I just replaced the cam tensioners on a 05 Road King. It starts hard and the front cylinder does fire and gets warm but is not a 100%. The rear is fine. Do you think this is cam timing or do I need to re-adjust the push rods? I checked them and they do spin at TDC. Thanks

To check pushrods you really have to adjust them all over again. Only way I can be sure exactly what it is. Just me though.
And I follow exactly the way you are supposed to. There is a method.
Now If it isn't the pushrods, it is more that likely something you just got thru doing. Something is not correct. Gotta recheck, redo.
Whatever, this kind of thing would drive me crasy and I would have to look at it again.

Agree with Gunny. Just because the PRs spin when at TDC doesn't mean they are adjusted properly. Start over, make sure the piston is at TDC and on the compression stroke; then try again. If that doesn't solve the problem, pull the cam plate and check everything.

Ooops, sorry for the double post; my bad. I would delete if I could but I can't.
