Default zenith 40mm carb

G'day i have been using a 38mm zenith for sometime with no problems and have just repowered with a stock 80 cu shovel motor and changed to a 40mm carb. it was going alright and then started mucking around and i think the problem was a coil breaking down, but i have been trying to find out where i can get a fuel tube c66-184-2 from, as i cant track one down but have read that someone on the forum did order one but there was no mention of where he got it from . i would like to try this jet as it is supposed to richen up the mid range area . any guidence in with this would be appreciated ...... thanks kev

Not that it helps you, but I use to work at Zenith Fuels systems in the Late 80's. I assembled & Flo tested those carbs. I had forgot about them until I read your post.

Actually, I think a company in Washington State bought them out in the early 90's. They still have the factory a couple of miles from my house although I doubt they still build any carbs for harleys. I think they moved everything to Washington. I know a guy who does business with them. I will ask if he can find out what the company name is now.
