Well you can see the results under my pic of what the cams did for me. With the heavy bagger 6th gear was all noise and not much umph. So I started with the cams and it did help, but after the 103 was installed and a good tune. I am really happy with the results and in 6th gear now it pulls all the way. Now with that said I am not into speed but needed the torque on my bike the rpm range is 2500 and runs out at just over 3500. But I don't ever ride there anyway so they work for me for my riding style.............

I have a set of SE 255 cams in the stage II 103 on my 2010 Street Glide. I have been very happy with the results. Bike makes 92 horsepower and 106 torque. While as noted the tq starts to drop off between 4000 and 4500 rpm, the horsepower carries out beyond 5500 so the bike runs hard to where I shift it.

When it comes to riding style, maybe some wind their baggers up tighter and expect to carry the power and torque into the high rpm ranges but that isn't how I ride mine. Now my Street Bob is a different story. Lighter, more nimble bike, I do wind the dyna up tighter and want the power to be a little higher.

If I was going to do it with low speed torque I'd try the 254e as they will carry the power out a little more than the 255's

Use a 204 as a bolt-in cam and have it all, and the side benefit of no pinging. You will need a custom tune or another tuning solution like the EMS
